Colin Mcrae passed away with his son in a tragic helicopter crash.

I've been playing Colin Mcrae Rally games since 2.0 and CMR series is the greatest Rally sim. The latest CMR game, Colin McRae: DiRT, for PS3, 360 and PC is another masterpiece and probably the last which bears the Colin Mcrae name.
Condolences to Colin McRae and his family and I wish them all the best.
